Original 1940`s Berthoud Geneve (Universal Geneve) man's chronograph with beautiful patina. This is a manufacture quality chronograph made by Universal Geneve and sold under the Manufacture founder's name. Berthoud was one of the Universal watch brand co-founders in the late 1880's.
A similar Berthoud Geneve chronograph, made a decade earlier, was auctioned in 2018 from Monaco Legend Group under lot number 314 "Rare watches, fine jewels & modern art" for €13,524 in Monte-Carlo.
This timemachine is an exceptionally hard to find Berthoud Chronograph of excellent craftsmanship. Completly untouched, never restored, never polished, 100% original factory condition.
