Chronograph
1940s
This prototype is believed to date from the late 1940s / 1950s when (Edmond) Jaeger collaborated with Vacheron (& Constantin) and (Jacques-David) LeCoultre.
Dial of this chronograph is a very early, unique and unmarked prototype, which was also used further developed and modified in the 1950s and 1960s for both Jaeger (primarily French sales) and Jaeger-LeCoultre (mainly US market) chronographs. The prototype dial is reduced to the essentials & in pure white.
Movement of this unique piece, developed by Universal Geneve in the 1930s, a caliber 285 with column wheel, is marked "Jaeger".
A like new vintage Vacheron leather strap bears the early solid white gold clasp, stamped & marked "750" and "Vacheron".

This timemachine seems to have been stored for all its years and received in year 2022/2023 a lovingly & carefully executed major restoration by our master watchmakers. A truly One-of-a-Kind Chronograph that is 100% original in all its components to this day.
