Jürgen Hardtke

The painter Jürgen Hardtke trained as a picture editor attended courses at the Hamburg Art School and developed himself through self-study. Own or participation in exhibitions e.g. in Bonn, Düsseldorf, Munich, Berlin and in "Friesland". From 1985 to 1994 work stay with exhibitions in his own gallery on Ischia/Italy. In 1986 his instructions “Freunde am Aquarell” were published.
At first glance Jürgen Hardtke's pictures seem like the reproduction of moods. They sure are. But they are more: His landscapes and abstract compositions reflect the viewer's impressions of the coastal landscape, the vastness of the sea, the variety of colors of the often Mediterranean area - painted spontaneously with brisk brushstrokes, yes, casually thrown but always sensitive, even with expressionistic ones coloring.
This work comes out of a special edition "Artist of the world” from Meissner Edition, Hamburg created for the German Lufthansa Airline in year 1985 and their first class passengers.
