This highly exclusive OMEGA | by TIFFANY & CO. double-signed dresswatch, distributed by the renowned jeweler Tiffany & Co. in New York, was manufactured around 1975 according to its serial number and has never been worn - making this masterpiece an absolute dream for any collector who loves exquisite dress watches. The original Omega De Ville blue fabric-textured leather strap is therefore completely untouched and still sealed with the original Omega hang tag. This stunning rarity impresses with its original double signature - so desired by vintage watch collector enthusiasts - and, most notably, with its silvery dial framed by the distinctively bright sparkle and brilliance of the white gold bezel. This masterpiece features a handsome, consistently aged patina across the dial and hands, as well as slight storage signs on the exterior - while the mechanism is preserved in the finest condition, as it was obviously maintained from time to time.
At the heart of this masterpiece ticks an Omega Caliber 625, an ultra-compact mechanical movement produced from 1973 to 1979; it is a hand-wound mechanical movement with an extremely low profile of just 2.50 millimeters, placing it in the “Superflat” category, featuring 17 functional rubies (jewels), already equipped with the higher oscillation frequency of 21,600 half-vibrations per hour (A/h) or 3 Hz, with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
The plate layout of this movement utilizes a three-quarter bridge, meaning that the barrel, the large pinion, the small pinion, and the seconds wheel are secured together under a single large bridge, which provides the ultra-flat movement with a high degree of stability. This movement caliber features a pinned regulator for fine adjustment, equipped with an Incabloc shock protection system to safeguard the balance staff in the event of drops or strong impacts. The balance wheel and hairspring consist of a smooth Glucydur balance wheel paired with a modern flat hairspring, and it operates with a Swiss Lever Escapement.
This magnificent Omega Caliber 625 is fully galvanized with a red gold finish (copper finish) on all its plates and bridges, featuring a Geneva stripe pattern and a matte perlage finish.
