This wonderful timepiece has been frozen in a time capsule & now it's back to start a second life.
Wittnauer chronopraphs is getting more and more attention from collectors and it's easy to understand why. This reference even made it to the final 3 in NASA's test run for the Moonwatch along with the Rolex Daytona and of course the Omega Speedmaster. Like the Rolex Daytona, this fantastic Wittnauer reference 235-T is powered by the iconic Valjoux 72 movement.
Long time it has been speculated until recently that the Wittnauer model tested by NASA along side the Speedmaster was the reference 242-T. Meanwhile it is confirmed by NASA that it was in fact the reference 235-T that lost out to be the Moon watch.

The "like new" looking white dial from this Wittnauer 235-T with tritium on the arabic numerals features tachymeter & telemetry scale, 12-hour counting chronograph with 30-minute intervals. It`s a column wheel chronograph with pump pushers and Wittnauer signed crown. The multi colored dial really draw the eye in the blue and red. Hardly ever seen with black steel hands & red subdial hands.
